ABOUT:
Bissell is a company that has been helping consumer’s keep their carpets clean since 1876. First there was the Carpet Sweeper (first of its kind), then a multi-purpose formula and shampooer, next came practical and lightweight cleaners, finally came carpet deep cleaners (once thought to be exclusive to commercial providers.) Bissell also acquired Woolite Carpet and Upholstery business which includes its renowned line of carpet cleaning products. An interesting fact too is that Anna Melville (wife of Melville who invented the Carpet Sweeper) was America’s first female corporate CEO.
Bissell’s product line now includes: Carpet Deep Cleaners, Vacuums, Cleaning Formulas, Steam Cleaners, Sweepers, Mops & Brooms.
MY THOUGHTS:
Half of my house is carpeting and I struggle with stains daily! I have carpeted stairs which even though we don’t really wear shoes in the house they get so dirty and my boy’s playroom is carpeted, which says it all! I absolutely love my Bissell Little Green Machine cleaner. It is small enough to store and carry around, but strong enough to really clean stains. My parents have had one forever it seems and they swear by it for carpet stains.
Features:
I have used the Little Green machine on fresh stains, old stains, and just to maintain my stairs carpeting and it works great all the time. I highly recommend the Little Green machine to anyone with carpeting, kids or no kids (or pets) we all spill and carpet does get dirty. Using the machine is so simple – Just fill one side with water/Little Green Formula solution and plug it in! The handle neatly wraps around as does the cord so you are ready to clean anytime. Turn on the power and there is a button you push to spray the solution onto the stains, then you can let it sit if it needs to or start scrubbing with the brush, when you are ready just drag the brush over the stain and it will suck up the mess and deposit it into the other canister to be emptied later on.
Carpet all clean!
Overall, I really can’t think of anything I would change on the Little Green machine. It is an excellent spot cleaner and small enough to store easily. I keep mine ready to go in our front closet so I can clean up a stain within minutes!
I also highly recommend checking out the Bissell website if you are unsure of what type of cleaner you need. You can narrow down your search by Price, Cleaning Need, Soil Type, and Surface Type. There are also some great How-to Videos, a Stain Removal Guide, and Cleaning 101s!

I just moved into a new house in Dec and the carpets are stained from the previous owners by who knows what. I just had a baby on September and I'm terrified to let her crawl on them...I had barely enough money for my kids Christmas...that would be mommy's gift!!:)
I have a liquid potpourri stain I'm having trouble with!

My living room carpet has a nasty pet stain. I have tried quite a few different carpet cleaning solutions to remove it, but it still isn't completely out.
