The Pocoyo line includes squeeze plushes, bath toys and an electronic car. Preschoolers age one to three years old are sure to fall in love with Pocoyo!  With Pocoyo toys, preschoolers can participate in Pocoyo’s adventures and discover right along with him!  Bandai’s new line brings Pocoyo into the lives of children in several different ways, and they all encourage children to learn through laughter.

MY THOUGHTS:

I am not sure where but my boys saw Pocoyo and thought he was adorable.  We haven’t seen him since, but now I see that Pocoyo is on Nick Jr. and PBS so hopefully we can catch it on again.  Until then, I was fortunate to be able to review a few of the Pocoyo and friends toys.  I also want to add that you don’t have to know of the show to enjoy these fun toys!

Bump n’ Go

Pocoyo zooms around in his racing car while music plays!  If the car hits an obstacle, it stops, moves back and makes a U-turn

My 2 and 3 year old sons fight over this simple toy.  One it is car, Two it plays music, and Three it goes on its own!  After putting in 3 AA batteries all you do is push Pocoyo’s head and he zooms off, if it bumps into something then he reverses and goes backwards!  He jumps keeps going!  There are also three buttons on the bottom (On, Silent, and Off) since he does play music and giggle.  I personally love the Silent button because he still works but is quiet, my boys love the noise and I have gotten used to it.  The car will also idle and shut off after it is left alone.  Very cute and durable plastic.  I have also never seen a toy like this before that didn’t require a remote control, which is tough for my little guys to understand, jump gently push down on Pocoyo’s head and he goes!  Cute whether your child like Pocoyo or not!

Pocoyo Musical Plush Characters -Squeeze n Play Pato

9″ Pocoyo and friends musical plush figures are styled after colorful characters from the show.

Now I really had no idea who this character was since I barely have seen the show, but he is cute.  You squeeze his backpack and he play an upbeat little tune, no words just a funky beat.  Very simple and short, but my little guy loves to carry him around and dance to the tune!  It requires 3 LR44 Batteries, but they are included.  For a fan of the show, they would probably really like this musical duck!  I do wish it played other music as it is the same little song over and over.
