{Holiday Gift Guide} Wild Creations “Jellyfish Lampquarium” Review (& Giveaway Ends 11/15)

MY THOUGHTS:

I first worked with Wild Creations back in May on an EcoAquarium review, which I still have up at home!  So when I heard they were coming out with new products, I was excited.  The new 2010 products all revolve around science and nature and are definitely cool!  I had a hard choice picking a favorite as my boys would love all of them.

Jellyfish Lampquarium

These unique jellyfish have been specially designed to move in an incredible life-like way through the water, gliding slowly then suddenly darting. The jellyfish dance under the five inter-changing colored lights. Magical to watch with none of the hassle of a live aquarium.

I received the Jellyfish Lampquarium to review.  It was a product that I figured our whole family could enjoy and the whole idea of jellyfish reminds me of Spongebob!  Setting up the Lampquarium was very easy, just add water, a few drops of laundry detergent (to help with the air bubbles), push in the jellyfish and plug it in.  All you have to do is turn it on and it even turns off in 4 hours if you leave it on.  We set this up in our kitchen for now while my boys get used to it, then I think I might move it into my 3 year olds room because he is really excited about it.  Actually both my boys watched the jellyfish float and the lights change colors for quite some time in the kitchen!  I will say it took some time to get the jellyfish floating around like they should as they kept getting stuck in the corner but it does say that may happen and after some adjusting it is fine.  I would say it would be perfect as a night light or really to display anywhere.  The jellyfish are soothing and it is fun to watch them float around.  They Jellyfish Lampquarium would make a perfect ft for anyone this Christmas!
