Shopping for Insurance

As the new year is almost year, I am starting to re-evaluate our bills.  I have called all of our utility companies and bills like our phone and cable to see what we can eliminate or save.  One company I haven’t called yet is our insurance company, and I know we are going to be up for renewal.  I did read though that you can change insurance at anytime but I just dread dealing with insurance companies.  I think it is because I really don’t understand what I am paying for and where I can cut cost.  We also have not had very helpful insurance agents in the past so I am leary over who I trust.  I think there are some insurance agents who just deal with so many customers and every family has different insurance needs.  I think we should all have free insurance, I can dream right!

I know I have togive in and just make my list of questions and call our agent.  I also want to get a few quotes online for other companies because I honestly have no idea if we are over or under paying for our home and auto insurance.  I am sure if I dig enough to I can find some auto insurance tips online!
