Sorry for the lack of posts, I have been sick lately and then my boys got sick. Then of course the blizzard of 2011 hit us here in Chicago. Snow is not something we are not familiar with and there is always lots of hype over weather here so I never believe it until I see it! Well we got hit, in 24 hours we go somewhere between 15-20 inches. I have never seen so much snow at one time! As the snow was pouring down, our power went in and out a million times, luckily each time only for a few seconds. Unfortunately, instead of playing in the mounds of snow outside both my boys were throwing up! It was gross and I felt so bad for them! I have washed pretty much every towel, blanket, and outfit in this house!
Oh and to add to my boring, snowed-in, puke-cleaning day, our cable tv and Internet has been out! I was totally going though withdrawls!

I know how you feel, except it was Hubby and I that were sick, the kids thankfully have stayed well, knock on wood!
I felt so bad because all they wanted to do was play in the snow and just thinking about going outside made my already chilly body just freeze up completly! But they got to go outside anyways, thanks to our wonderful neighbor girl who took them out and played with them for the past 2 days!
