Marketing Materials?

Now that I have a new name for my blog I of course have to order new business cards.  I have been thinking for some time now about other ways to market my blog and maybe now is the time to do it.  Currently other than handing out business cards at events, I made up postcards to hand out.  My mom slips them in with items she sells on eBay and hopefully they are working, but really I guess I don’t know!  I was thinking of promotional pens because everyone uses pens and I know at least I always read what’s on a pen.  My mother-in-law suggested custom pencils because that is what she had for her business but I don’t really see many people using regular pencils these days.

So far I am just thinking of ideas and right now marketing supplies really aren’t in my budget.  I can dream though!  I might just wait for a coupon and head over to OfficeDepot.com and see what they offer.  I would have never thought of using them but I heard they customize materials too so maybe if I can get the right price I can get something personalized!
