I was never a Superman fan, but when Smallville first started I was hooked.  I watched the show as much as I could and regret that I have missed so many episodes.  It features Clark as a high school student who also has superman powers and how his life changes and goes on.

One aspect of the show that really draws into the characters are the different Rivalries throughout the series, mainly Bizarro and Lex Luthor.  Most people have heard of Lex Luthor, but Smallville shows the beginning and how his relations with Clark Kent unfolds.  Lex is a billionaire CEO of LuthorCorp and struggles with power and evil.  In one episode, Lex’s body is taken over and he fights Clark until Clark has to make a life/death decision.  Most of the show I would say involves the rivalry between Clark and Lex and the characters really make the show.

Smallville really is a show for anyone and if you have missed episodes or never got to watch it in the first place or you just absolutely love the show, there is a must-have DVD set coming out!  “Smallville:  The Complete Series” has all 218 episodes with over 28 hours of special features, never-before-seen features and production art and an Exclusive Daily Planet newspaper written by DV comics!
