There are so many bloggers out there that I love (definitely more than five) but here are some of my favorites, yes all of them I have met IRL (in real life!) I find that meeting a blogger really makes an impression on me which is why I picked ones I personally met.  I don’t get out to a lot of blogger events or conferences, but they really can be a great place to meet new bloggers or finally put a face to a name!

Kassie at Southern Bella’s Ways to Save

I first met Kassie at BlogHer 2009 and we immediately clicked.  I had visited her site before but since I met her, I appreciate your site more.  She has great product reviews and giveaways, funny Wordless Wednesday posts, and she is a great person in general.  We email and Facebook each other all the time and it is great to bounce ideas off her!  Since Kassie is from the south, she has a southern accent and sense of humor which makes me smile.

Maria at A Savings Wow!

Maria is blogger I met through Twitter because she was a local blogger.  We actually first met though in St. Louis at a Build-A-Bear media event, even though it turns out we live about 30 minutes from each other in Chicagoland!  She is a brave blogger who just had to start a whole new blog from scratch after moving from “My Chicago Mommy.”  She blogs about deals mostly and I am always surprised at how she finds the time to post them all!  I can barely keep up one store’s deals and she posts tons of them each day!

Lisa at Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy!

Lisa is another local blogger to me and someone I met randomly on Twitter again!  We were both going to a blogger event downtown and I was looking to meetup with someone at the train station.  Never having read Lisa’s blog before, I figured what the heck and we made arrangements to meet.  Lisa turned out to be a very down to earth mom of three young boys (hence her blog name) who has a great personality.  She blogs a little about everything, including product reviews and giveaways!  Her posts are funny, thoughtful, full of great pics, and she posts about television shows that I frequently miss!  I especially like reading her blog since I have two active boys and I like to see what I’m in store when they get a few years older!

Liz at A Nut in a Nutshell

I met Liz at a my first Chicago blogger event I attended, even though she is not a local blogger.  I had stalked her blog before and was a little starstruck when I first met her!  First off she is so tiny with a super friendly personality.  I am super impressed every time I visit her blog at the number of comments she receives – I am talking around a hundred per post and they are not giveaway posts either!  She blogs about everything and her posts are hysterical!  She does do product reviews and giveaways but I love to read her personal posts that reflect on something funny she did or thought about.  She also posts great pics!

Louise at Mom Start

I stalked Louise at Mom Start since I first started blogging and she actually helped me out with a few things in the beginning (which I didn’t put two and two together until recently!)  I met Louise finally at BlogHer 2010 and she is a very down to earn person who carries a big camera!  I will never forget how giant her camera was!  She blogs about everything, and includes adorable pics of her two kids!  She helps out a lot of moms and local groups, which I am always surprised to see that she can find time for.  I love popping over at her blog and checking out what’s going on in her life.  She is from the complete opposite end of the country from me – in Seattle – so our communication is mainly blog comments and Facebook!  Oh and she even posts great recipes, which make me drool!
