Getting New Baby Bedding…

When my first child was born I the gender be a surprise and everything was gender neutral.  Even if I knew it was going to be a boy I am not sure I would have bought anything specifically boy themed because I knew I wanted more kids and I wanted to be able to get the most life out of our baby’s items.

Now that we are having our third child, and I have used our baby bedding for two kids already, I am thinking of purchasing a new set especially since I found out we are having a girl.

Our current theme is animals and while there is nothing wrong with it, I would love something specifically for baby girl bedding.  Something pink, frilly, and girly would be a nice change in our current house of blue!  I love my boys of course but we have so much blue in the house!  I haven’t decided fully yet since baby bedding can be expensive and then of course I would want to change up the animal theme we have currently, but I feel like I want to do something special for her arrival since she is our third child and possibly our last.

I found two bedding sets that I love.  The pink and brown bedding set, I would need a new theme and have to paint the bedroom but with the purple baby bedding I might be able to pull off the animal wall hangings and light switch plate we already have.  Since I don’t need anything for our new baby girl other than clothes, luckily we saved all our baby items and toys, a new bedding set just might be in our budget!
