I just wanted to give everyone an update. You may have noticed I have been many Sponsored Posts with various keywords. I have been fortunate enough to receive these opportunities and I have not been able to pass them up. With our new baby on the way, gas and grocery prices rising like crazy (gas here in Chicagoland is $4.45 a gallon!) I admit it is hard to turn down money. I try to contribute as much as possible to our family income.
I have updated my Disclosure Policy on Sponsored Posts, but I wanted to clarify here. I mark all posts I get paid for in the Category “Spark” and most of the time I do include a Disclosure but some companies prefer I didn’t so if your wondering I do mark it as a “Spark.”
Also, I do include my own thoughts, opinions, and stories in Sponsored Posts. The way it works is a company will give me certain keywords/URLs to use and then I write a post about anything as long as I use them. So yes my posts are real and all me, unless of course they are Guest Posts!
I don’t want to deceive any of you and I hope you don’t mind me sharing!

Thanks for posting. Glad you cleared that up.
As a former (and probably a future) grumpy cube dweller, I think it's great.
It's great to make a little extra money from paid sponsors especially if you think the info is helpful for your readers! I'm all for it! That's a great idea about how to include the disclosure for sponsors that aren't too keen about including a length policy within the post. Thanks for the idea!
