So last night we had a friend and his fiancé come over to hang out and have some pizza. We got to talking about college and what some people are up to, and found out that one guy we all knew is going to propose. Now I haven’t seen this guy in about seven years but he was a nice and quiet guy back then and I can’t see him changing much.
I guess his girlfriend, whom he has only been with for a few months, mentioned that she wants one of those 3 carat diamond rings because her last boyfriend got her a 2 carat and she wants this one to be bigger. Okay right there that should have sent up a red flag, but I don’t know her or how he is now to judge. He had sent a picture of the ring he bought and it has a huge band with a big diamond in the middle. Now since the diamond is so big and he doesn’t make enough, it is a far from flawless diamond, definitely not a Tacori. He bought it at a mall jewelry store too that has a bunch of complaints online about them, again red flag! I find it funny because this guy is a computer guy and did his research online but ended up anyways buying from a mall store with a bad reputation. I am surprised he didn’t come across Since1910.com or some other online jewelry site which at least might have had better ratings and prices.
