Okay so by now you are probably sick of me rambling on about switching from a Queen size bed to a King size bed but bear with me. I hadn’t realized how many different styles were available and now I feel like I have browsed so much online for them that my eyes are going to fall out! While I am looking for King size styles, I quickly browsed the headboards for queen beds and saw some nice ones but not nice enough to change my mind. Although I admit I saw some nice upholstered headboards for queen beds that I would have never considered before.
Initially we bought a Queen size bedroom set because I was worried whenever we moved that our bed wouldn’t fit right. In our first house it definitely would have been tight, but now since we are never moving again I feel like it is okay to upgrade our bed size. We do have a smaller sized Master bedroom but a king headboard with storage bed would fit nicely and allow me extra storage room. Right now stuff is thrown under the bed in no order, and drawers would be nice! Although now that I think about it I’d have to measure to make sure we can comfortably open the under the bed storage drawers since it’d be a little bit of a tight squeeze.

If you have room for the king with the drawers, and could open them, I say go for it. Find a bed that screams your name, because guys don't care about that kind of thing; and the happier you are with what you choose, the happier you'll be when you see it. Just think, has your husband ever picked out something you weren't the happiest with? You know the scrunchy, disappointed/grossed out look you gave that item everytime you saw it? Yeah, it'll be kinda like that. Plus, if you're happier when you go to bed, you'll sleep better, and might be in "the mood" more often. Lol. Happy bed hunting. Hope this helped.
