Superhuman powers I think everyone has thought about at some point or another. For Clark Kent from Smallville, it is something that he was born with and had to master. I think superpowers can both be a blessing and a disaster wrapped in one.
I was thinking of Clark discovering he has Super Speed in the pilot episode of Smallville (Season 1, Episode 1.) He missed the bus for school and started running through the cornfield at speeds faster than the speed of light. I think Super Speed is neat because I have never been able to run and the ability to run that fast would be cool! I would never have to be late or fight Chicago traffic again! I wouldn’t have gotten teased in school for being so slow and maybe I would have excelled at a sport! There are other great superpowers out there, but speed is definitely up there and one that as a busy mom I could appreciate.
