Gossip Girl: Blair & Chuck, Blair & Dan, Blair & Louis, Oh My…

I admit teen shows are my guilty pleasure.  I can still remember back in the 90’s eating dinner in my room on the nights that Beverly Hills 90210 was on because I couldn’t miss a minute of it.  Now that I am older you’d think my tastes would change to an older crowd, but nope I love all the current teen shows.  “Gossip Girl” is one show I record on my DVR every week and as soon as the kids go to sleep I quickly pop it on.

The recent season (Season 4) of Gossip Girl involves Blair going back and forth between two guys.  If you don’t watch the show, Blair is a New York socialite who basically thinks she is better than everyone else, especially those of lower classes.  The previous seasons show Blair hating Dan Humphrey because he is from the poor side of town and doesn’t belong.  Then she suddenly realizes they actually have a few things in common, unlike her and her real love Chuck Bass.  Then to really throw her off her horse is the Prince (Louis) she met from France that followed her to New York.  I did like their relationship as they were cute together but Chuck would always be in the back of her mind.  As far as Dan goes, I was against them from the get go as Dan could do better!

I have gone back and forth with Blair and each guy and I am all about Blair and Chuck.  I think they are perfect for each other and would just be miserable if they are not together.  I am totally rooting for them, even though their relationship is not really a healthy one.  There is always drama on the show which is probably why I like it and it is a great show to watch to de-stress from my own life!
