I’d love a solar powered battery charger…

I am an addict…an Internet addict that is.  I do not think I can go one day without technology, whether it be my cellphone, laptop, email, iPod or any other electronic device.  I don’t necessarily need to be on them for a long period of time, but I do need to check my email or usually have a text message at least to send out.  I am though frugal too and don’t want to pay for stuff I don’t really need.  For example, I don’t have Internet enabled on my cellphone.  I do have Wi-Fi on it which I can use in my house or any Wi-Fi hotspot for free, but I just can’t bring myself to pay an extra $30 a month for the data plan with AT&T when we are already paying for home Internet and a data plan on my husband’s iPhone.  Wi-Fi is fine with me and I am home most of the time anyways.  I also don’t pay for Internet when we are on vacation as I am happy just checking my email on my husband’s iPhone (which again we already pay for.)

With my addiction comes the cost of constantly charging the devices and having extra cords on hand.  There is nothing worse either than not having somewhere to charge your device, such as on vacation or just somewhere you don’t have access to an outlet.  I always thought a solar powered battery charger would be cool since I could probably leave it on my dashboard of my car to charge up and then my device would be good to go!
