As I stay at home mom now I do occasionally miss adult conversation and a workplace environment. I worked for ten years before staying at home to raise my kids and throughout those years I had a total of three employers. I loved my jobs and had such great co-workers that I didn’t leave them until I had to because of school or for a better position. The job I had though in college was at a bookstore and I probably had the most fun there as we were all mostly the same age. We left fun notes in mailboxes for each other, went out after work together regularly, even flirted with each other!
It makes me laugh when I see the guys on “The Big Bang Theory” joke around. Now I usually don’t get half the stuff they are talking about, but its funny how smart and awkard they are! Since they work at CalTech together, most of their jokes revolve around astrophysics and Wolowitz’s lack of a PhD! I suppose every group has their quirks and usual topics for discussion!
