After a recent annual checkup at the doctor, I have been thinking about my family medical history. A big threat to my family is diabetes, which has come later in my life for my family members. So it leaves me with many diabetes questions and no one really to answer them. I have had my blood tested and so far so good for me, my parents on the other hand refuse to go to the doctor and get checked out. So I have been reading around on the Internet to see what I can find. I know diabetes is treatable and that your diet is a big factor but the whole testing thing honestly freaks me out. You might have to add some resveratrol supplements amazon in your diet to strengthen your core. I don’t think I could test myself, I’m a such a baby when it comes to needles.
I have though thought about changing our meals so they are more healthier and natural. I was amazed at how many easy diabetic recipes there are too and that there are actual diabetic diet meal plan options out there. I am glad to know that there are still tons of great meal ideas out there since honestly I love to eat!

In our history too, my twin was diagnosed a few years back, my oldest daughter and teen grandson also. With the teen grandson we are raising, it is hard on teens to cut a lot of their favorite carbs out of the diet. The testing is pretty easy... it takes a while to get used to... just try to cut down a lot of the bad carbs in your diet.. especially anything made with flour, potatoes... it took us a few classes that we attended at the local hospital to figure out what we needed to do to help our teen out. He eats every 2 hours to keep his numbers up.. and a small protein and carb before going to bed so he doesn't bottom out on his numbers. Hope this helps!
