My Favorite Smallville Moment

With a long running of ten years, Smallville has had so many great moments.  I can’t even try to recapture all of them.  My favorite though probably has to be the very first episode.  Smallville is actually what got me into Sci-Fi.  Meteors attacked Smallville, killing people right off the bat and creating a phenomenon of a new Superman.  You meet a red-haired little Lex and a fairy princess Lana.  I had actually forgotten how the Lana and Lex started out – I just remember a naked little Clark Kent.  You see parents come and go.  It was just such a great episode that even for non-Superman fans like I was, I got hooked.  Having Clark be in highschool going through the typical highschool stuff plus his super powers was a perfect beginning.  I admit I was mad back then about Chloe and Clark not being a couple but I figured eventually Lana and him would hook up.  The show started when I was in college so I could relate since I was not that much older than the characters.

You also of course got to meet bad guys, some you didn’t know right away were bad guys and I felt sorry for.
