I love Love LOVE Sweet Tomatoes. Even if I cannot drag my husband along to eat with me, I go without him! I'm not scared to eat delicious soups, salads and other goodies alone.
The price is what keeps my husband away. He says that $9 is too much for what you get. i.e. "No Meat". I agree the price is steep but the food is filling and wholesome, and you can eat all you want.
They have recently added a "premium" section that has chicken, almonds and other toppings that can be added for $2 more. It isn't the beef that my husband craves but maybe I can talk him into a poultry day?
Either way I love to visit because they have some of the best soup I have ever tasted. I think any meal that you can eat out of one dish with one utensil is primo. Meat or no meat. Enjoy!

I love Sweet Tomatoes but my husband is so-so since he is a big meat-eater. I explain that not every meal needs meat and he disagrees. He does like their chili though which I think is the only thing with meat!
