MY THOUGHTS:

My 5 year old absolutely loves this sled.  It has every feature I want in a sled for him.  It is lightweight, which means it is easy for him to carry it himself up and down the hill.  It has a handle, which is great for him to hold on to and steer.  It’s compact so he isn’t scared of it!  We have tried the small circle disc sleds and the long toboggan like sleds but has either been scared or I didn’t feel comfortable with him on them alone.

The Zipfy is perfect for kids 5 and up, and by up I mean up to a 250lb. adult!  When we were able to bribe our son for a turn, even my husband and I were able to enjoy the Zipfy!  I will say too that you definitely glide down hills nicely on it and if you want to stop you just put your feet down to slow down.   I was definitely skeptical about the Zipfy when I saw its small size but it is pretty amazing!  It is also made of a high quality and durable plastic.  We definitely need to get a few more for all of us to enjoy!  I highly recommend the Zipfy for kids and adults, but especially kids as my son’s face is priceless when he’s on it!
