Walgreens Prescription Savings Club Discount

With health care costs rising for both those with and without insurance it can be a tough choice on what to pay for and how.  Walgreens has taken the initiative to help others out by offering a special discount on their annual membership for its Prescription Savings Club.  For just $35 a year, everyone in an immediate family (including spouse, dependents 22 and younger and pets) can be covered.  An individual can purchase a membership for just $20. 

The Walgreens Prescription Savings Club offers benefits including:

·      Savings on more than 8,000 brand name and all generic medications

·      Discounts on flu shots, pet prescriptions, nebulizers and diabetic supplies

·      Bonuses when you purchase Walgreens brand products and photo services

Luckily my husband’s work offers insurance but I know so many family and friends that are not covered.  One of my son’s prescriptions is over $100 a month and without insurance I couldn’t imagine paying for the whole thing.  If I could get a discount each month by joining a savings club I would do it without a second thought.  I mean saving money in the long run would definitely outweigh the membership fee.  They Prescription Savings Club is also risk free which means if they don’t save more than the cost of your membership during the course of the year they’ll refund the difference.  You really have nothing to loose!
