So apparently I’m old. I have a 14 year old sister (I’m the oldest, she’s the youngest) and she told me how her and her friend went and saw The Dictator movie. So her and her friend tried to buy tickets and were denied since they had to be 17, so they found an “old” couple to buy their tickets. She then said how her and her friend went in and again got stopped, this time by the ticket taker saying they had to be with their parents when they entered. So off they went to find the “old” couple to walk in with. They said how the “old” couple joked with the ticket taker when they walked in saying how “their kids” were just so excited to see the movie. So after she kept referring to the “old” couple I had to ask how old do you think they were. To that she replied, “Like 30.”
Wow so apparently I am old since I am 30 (at least for another month then I turn 31.) I had a good laugh over that one, then a sad moment realizing that I probably considered 30 old too when I was her age!

We've all been there, but it'll be a good laugh when your sister is 30! Remind her of this story.
I had a simliar and heartbreaking realization at the pool recently. I was "that mom" that was chatting up the lifeguards. I finally had to admit that in spite of the tattoos... I was a mom at the pool with two kids. Le sigh... :)
I know tattoos used to make me feel cool, now I feel like I got them so long ago and I used to show them off in my skinny body, no more though :(
LOL. Yeah I think I thought the same thing at that age.
I know, right!
Ah i don't think you should think much of it i am a 14 year old boy and still growing up to be an adult i worry about the economy and stuff like that i think its a bit silly for younger people to be depicting people with more years than them. I don't honestly know how i found this website but hey don't let it affect you there is plenty of other people 30 haha at 1 point we're all old =).
Ha thanks!
HA! You've got quite a crafty 14 year old sister there!
I'm sure that's the way it has been and will be forever; when you're young, you always think a certain age is "old." When you reach that age, you think another age is "old." So on and so forth-it's like a big circle of young and old. Lol
I know to me 40 is old but I am only 9 years from there!
i must be ancient then approaching 40!
LOL!
