So Wednesday morning at 6 AM I left with seven other Chicago bloggers on a plane for New York. Yes I gave into peer pressure and left at 6 AM because everyone else was, and I was nice to all share a van from LaGaurdia to our hotel. When we arrived at the Hilton since it was so early we dropped off our bags and walked around New York.
We (me, Paula, and Lisa) decided to check out Ripley’s Believe It or Not. It is set right in Times Square and pretty hopping with people. Right when we walked in we were automatically inundated with crazy exhibits.
Started out with Bumblebee from Transformers:
World’s Ugliest Woman:
Extra ?
Hairy Man:
Crazy Feet!
Just one of the many collections from Ripley, there was also Shrunken Heads but I apparently didn’t get any pictures of it (more reason for you to visit on your own)
Live cockroaches in a bubble, can’t remember what this exhibit was exactly:
Actual Berlin Wall:
Again can’t remember, other than that it was a small man captured in a bird cage:
Torture?
Lincoln picture made of pennies, haha get it!
Shark tried to eat man, man forgives shark:
The price for admission is about $32 per adult but if you buy them online they are 20% off. I would recommend checking it out if you can get a discount, it can be expensive otherwise for a family. The New York attraction has more than 500 real artifacts, dozens of wildly fun interactive elements and twenty plus themed galleries. We spent about two hours there, but I’d say you can walk around for maybe 3 hours and soak it all in. Don’t forget your camera either as there is a lot to take pictures of!

Where is the hairy lady who has a beard
Oh man, my boyfriend would go gaga over the Bumblebee robot exhibit; every time we pass a yellow mustang, he yells out, 'Hey, there's Bumblebee!!' LOL
If you couldn't tell, he's a big Transformers fan ^.^
This looks like one crazy and interesting place to check out!
