“Start Simple, Start Right” with Kellogg’s

Breakfast in my house is crazy, and I am sure I am not alone in that. I have three kids to feed with one of them getting on the bus at 8:30. So I am trying to get them dressed, fed, and backpacks ready. Cereal is something that is quick, easy and with so many varieties I can please everyone in my family. We all have our favorites so at any given time I probably have at leave seven boxes in our cabinet (a few extra to mix it up.) Before kids I was all about sugary cereals and marshmallows, but then I realized a good, wholesome breakfast is important.

I started looking for cereals with whole grains and simple ingredients (or shall I say less junk.) Kellogg’s is a brand that features some of our favorite cereals and they feature simple ingredients such as rice, wheat, corn and other grains. Each of their recipes start with grains harvested right here in the United States, which is another quality I never thought about in the food I eat. Being made in the United States, well yes that makes it even better in my book! With rice from the heavy clay soil of Arkansas, Louisiana and California, corn form the rich soil of the Midwest and wheat form the plain and Great Lakes states. A variety of their cereals are even made with seven or less common ingredients plus many of the vitamins and minerals families need for a nutritious start to their day!

Knowing the cereal my family eats is harvested right here in the United States makes me proud to not only eat it but share it with my family.
