My boys love all modes of transportation, basically they love anything that moves! Car, trucks and trains are something they have tons of, but something they don’t have a lot of are airplanes. The Tomica Hypercity Rescue Storm Runner Jet is not a typical airplane, but it is a 3-in-1 flying vehicle!
The Storm Runner is a 3-in-1 vehicle ready for any high-risk rescue in the Hypercity. It changes form easily from a supersonic jet to an underwater submarine to a high-speed race car! In jet mode, there are two mobile action bases under each wing that can be used to launch vehicles. The jet can also launch a police hero train engine, saving the day from the air or the ground. This set includes one jet, two mobile action bases, one non-motorized hero engine, one articulate TomiHero and two missiles.
This jet is amazing! It is a race car vehicle with a snap on jet pack piece and then comes with an engine and guy. The pieces are easily snapped together, my kids can do it on their own which makes them happy. Everything then stays put, it doesn’t fall apart when flying – another plus. The little engine and guy is a great addition and interchangeable in the engine and jet. This is actually the first Tomica toy we have owned and I am pleased with its quality. It has stood up to my my boys (4 and 5) constant play and believe me when I say they are rough with toys. It fun how there really is a lot of different things to do with this one toy, that it is sure to please any kid – its a race car, its a jet, its a cargo plane! Oh and it does not require any batteries, so no annoying sounds or batteries to replace!
