Okay so how many people remember this? I remember my first computer with Internet in like 1994 and I had to use it later at night when no one needed the phone or risk getting kicked off from someone picking up the phone – then I had to re-do the 15 minute process of getting back online. My first account was through AOL which was free for X-amount of time and then I would re-sign up free again. Somehow I just kept floating different AOL accounts until I got something else (remember Juno?) I still remember that noise of my little modem connecting and then the “You’ve Got Mail!” I was so excited to get mail over the computer and talking in chat rooms to kids who were actually safe and my age (at least I think they were.)
For some reason though I can’t remember moving from a dial-up modem to cable modem. I am thinking it was not until college (2000?) It’s funny the things that stick out in my mind and I will say I feel old when I talk to my younger siblings about how there was life before Wi-Fi and Facebook.
So what was your first Internet or memory?

I remember when we only had black and white TV. You know, back when kids weren't afraid to go outside and use their imaginations to play. Just sayin'.
