Have you ever felt something was or wasn’t meant to be? Like runing into someone unexpected, finding something you stopped looking for or doing something that had an unexpected outcome. I feel like these strange coincences never happen to me or maybe they do and I don’t even realize!
I think my biggest unexpected run-in was when my son was having open-heart surgery when he was a baby. The hospital was about an hour away and one of the ICU nurses turned out to be a girl who I managed from a bookstore I worked at while in college. I could not believe one of the nurses taking care of my son, my only child who was so fragile and little, was someone I worked with years ago. She was just starting college then and I was her manager. All I could think was I hope I was never a bad boss because my son’s life is literally in her hands! Obviously she was great with him and I was so grateful at the time for a friendly face.
I was so grateful I didn’t miss that connection of having her be one of my son’s nurses, but you just never know. Well Sears has a trailer for a new “movie” coming out called Connecting Flights that is not like any other movie you’ve seen. The trailer actually made me laugh, especially because its about two bloggers that fall in love!
