The Mr. Coffee Cafe Latte maker is a very simple latte maker that even I, coffee-clueless, can work it!  You add ground cafe and water in the top, then milk and any flavors in the pitcher.  There is only one button and one switch, like I said very easy!  The creamy goodness from the latte is something I have found myself now unable to live without!  What makes a latte different from just a glass of coffee is that it uses steamed milk which frothes up for a nice creamy latte.  So no more paying $3 (or more) for a latte, just make your own for less then the $100 this machine costs.

I broke out our Mr. Coffee Cafe Latte maker for Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit.  I even felt fancy making it for my guests, instead of boring old coffee and sugar.  Whether you are a coffee lover, latte lover or newbie, I highly recommend the Mr. Coffee Latte maker.  It really is simple and with a recipe book of over 20 different varieties there is something for everyone.  Other than lattes there is also hot chocolate recipes in there that I can’t wait to try for my kids this winter.

My favorite recipe though is using caramel or chocolate syrup in the pitcher and then topping my finished creation with whip cream.

To go the extra step, I now pour my hot coffee latte over ice, for an Iced Latte.  I add in a little sugar, top with whip cream and I swear it tastes just like the lattes I used to get from McDonalds!  I am seriously hooked and don’t know how I lived without iced lattes at home!  I can now have a latte anytime I want in just a few minutes, actually it takes about a minute to steam and brew the coffee into the milk.

The Mr. Coffee Latte maker would make a great gift whether it be for someone else or yourself!  It is an appliance I didn’t think I needed but now I can’t imagine not having it!  I initially thought too I would pull it out only for special occasions but it now has a permanent spot on my counter.  Yes it only makes 2 cups at a time, but if you are using it for iced lattes it stretches a little further and really since it takes just a minute you could make them fresh for each guest.
