Shopping at Meijer for the Holidays @SheSpeaksUp @ Meijer #MeijerHoliday

It was a dreary day here in my western suburb of Chicago, but that did not stop customers from hitting up our local Meijer.

Now Meijer is a store that I shop at occasionally for groceries but honestly I forget it has a whole side of the store that has everything from toys to housewares to automative to hardware!  Basically Meijer is a one-stop store as I like to call it.  I can buy groceries, clothes, paper products, toys, housewares, hardware and more at.  I forget though and lately I have been checking out the Meijer ads and Wow do they have some good sales going on!  So I headed to my local Meijer store and this time I started at the non-food end of the store!    I was amazed to see so many great items and deals!

Lots of pre-packaged items all ready to go:

Gift cards!

 Stocking Stuffers!

More and More Stocking Stuffers!

I had no clue they carried Melissa and Doug wooden sets in stores, we love these!  I usually buy them online but this way I could save on shipping and actually look at the items.

LeapFrog products at the same prices as everywhere else!

Hello Kitty and My Little Pony, yeah!

Small bath sets for $6 and Christmas Hex Bugs, double yeah!

Some of my stocking stuffers I purchased:

And of course groceries because we always seem to have no food in our house!

Overall, my trip to Meijer was a hit!  I am now done with stocking stuffers for my three little ones, I got a few small presents (on clearance) to add to the gift cards I also bought.  I hate just giving gift cards so I usually try to buy a small gift to wrap with the gift card.  Those water bottles from the picture above were like $3 and I am going to tape a gift card to them and my mother-in-law will be a happy camper!  I also bought a pie for a family party we are going to, groceries for my own family and even some socks for my boys.  Seriously I got so much accomplished from my one trip to Meijer.  I am definitely not skipping the rest of the store anymore next time I go grocery shopping!  It is so nice to be able to buy everything under one roof, especially during the hectic holiday season.  So I’d recommend taking your Christmas list to Meijer with you next time and seeing how many people you can cross off, you may be surprised.
