In just a few months, May 9-12 to be exact, a select group of bloggers will head to Disney World for the 4th annual Disney Social Media Moms Conference. The conference is probably the most magical of all the blogger conferences and it is probably the most sought after. I say sought after because it is invite only now and it can be the luck of the draw if you get an invite. I mean with hundreds of bloggers (thousands actually but I am saying less due to the niche and being an active blogger) hoping to go, there are only so many tickets available. Every year too it seems like more and more bloggers want to go and head to Twitter to stalk the #DisneySMMoms hashtag. It is a conference where bloggers can and actually want to bring their families too. It is also a conference that makes Disney World more affordable for so many families.
I was fortunate to attend the past three years and it has been my most cherished times of the years. All year long we re-live our Disney experience and talk about when we can go next! That’s not all though, remember this is a blogger conference too! The Disney Social Media Moms Conference has some of the coolest and most amazing speakers like Guy Kawasaki, Maxine Clark from Build A Bear, Marissa Jaret Winokur, Kathy Ireland, Maryellen Hooper, Chris Brogan, Amy Jo Martin, actual Disney employees and more! The topics discussed are so informative and I have used what I learned throughout the year. Meeting and re-connecting with other bloggers is the other huge benefit. There really isn’t anything I would change, other than the ability to invite everyone!
Each year Disney has been trying to invite new bloggers, as well as some old, as they want to spread as much pixie dust as they can. I know for me last year I didn’t get my invite until a lot later than most as I can only assume I was emailed after others couldn’t go – which honestly I am grateful for. So here I wait for word on invites going out and I can only hope I make the list. I have been so blessed with attending the conference and it really has changed my life. I made so many great friends at the conference that I talk to regularly. I have improved my blog and writing from what I have learned. Finally I have made cherished memories with my family, who support me year round so I can blog.
Either way I am happy for those that do get an invite as it is truly an amazing experience.

I went last year for the first time and it was wonderful! Fingers crossed!
Oh, I'm crossing my fingers for you! I want to go too, but I'm not sure it's going to happen. Good luck to you!
I have never been able to afford to take my family to Disney and dream of being able to do it just once. I've been saving my pennies what a blessing it would be to get my first invite for Disney Social Media moms celebration.
Fingers crossed for you I know each yr as your children get older Disney provides a whole new experience for them.
Fingers crossed! This will be my first time, if I get the invite. Hope to see you there!
Good luck to you too!
I am really hoping that I make the cut this year. I have not attended yet. I really want to be able to finally take my kids without breaking the bank.

I know it is so nice to get the price break and the conference rolled into one! Good luck!
