t's kind of funny to find this post. One of our favorite little books to read to the kiddos is actually sitting right here by my computer. The kids are 10 & 14 now. It's called Bagel Mouse. It's a Chunky Peek-A-Board book. Very cute. "Who knew? Now Gabriel new."
As a kid I always loved The Three Investigators series of books. Great Hardy Boys type of stories. The 3 kids were always inventing cool gadgets and had a secret hideout complete with secret entrance that the adults could never find.
I love personalized children's books. I remember a fun book my parents gave me and my brother. They were personalized with our own names but spelled backwards. So my character was a giraffe named 'Kerred'. I thought that was so cool. My brother's book had a lion named 'Yeldarb'. I still like to call him that every now and again...and he's 47.
