Looking For Deals & Trading Houses

I often research items online that I am thinking of buying and most of the time I end up purchasing them online too.  I feel like I can get better deals most of the time as there as so many great coupons and deals out there.  I don’t pay for shipping, if I do I make sure the price is better than in-store or its something that I can’t easily get in a nearby store.  I don’t have to worry about driving to a store and having them not have my size or style I was looking for, even if the store is out of something I want online at least I didn’t waste my time or gas going somewhere.  I highly recommend searching online before shopping, even if its just to check out some reviews of the product your looking to buy.  You can also find coupons and promo codes at MyDeals.com.

One reason I shop online is to save money so we can build up our vacation fund.  This year I think we are not going to Disney World so we can save for our basement remodel, but we still will be going on a trip to a local amusement park and water park for four days.  The place is only about five hours away and honestly my kids will probably be just as excited being there as they would anywhere else.  My kids are still young and just happy to be somewhere else and as a family.  They think sleeping somewhere else is the coolest thing ever!

When my kids are older I’d like to travel abroad with them.  Recently I followed a friend on Facebook while her family traveled to Paris and all over Europe.  One thing they did that I had never thought of was they stayed in someone else’s home.  I asked her and she said they saved money by doing that and it wasn’t strange at all.  What a great idea to save money and get a true cultural expierence.  I don’t think I could list my own house, but it is a great way to earn some extra money.  One site to check out to get deals on vacationing in someone elses home is MyDeals.com/uk/housetrip.
