My kids love ice cream, yeah I know what kid doesn’t! They are also asking for ice cream or looking for a reason to celebrate something, which mean ice cream will be involved. So when I was asked if I wanted to have a Bomb Pop Summer Party I of course jumped at it! My kids love Bomb Pops and since they’ve been around for 50 years we are not alone! I had no clue either they had other flavors than the Original flavor!
Our poor summer celebration featuring our Bomb Pops kept getting postponed and postponed though due to illness. All three of my kids caught a fever one after another, then the neighbor kids got sick. We had a fun neighborhood party planned but settled for some ice cream and Bomb Pop baseball one weeknight. I still have a bigger party planned with water balloons and Bomb Pops but I’m waiting until everyone is healthy and ready to party!
My kids love being outside and when the weather allows (when its not raining or too hot) they beg to go outside. With both my boys getting older and getting ready for Kindergarten and 1st grade, I am trying to make this summer especially fun. Soon they’ll both be in school all-day everyday and I am trying to cherish all the time we have together now. Lazy days and Bomb Pops anytime of the day are how we are rolling this summer.
So anyways back to Bomb Pops, like I said I had no clue there were other flavors. The flavors include Original, Hawaiian Punch, Sour Wower and Original Sugar Free.
All the flavors were a hit, especially Sour Wower and wow is it sour! All us parents liked the Original Bomb Pops in Sugar Free as we all know our kids could use a little less sugar! The kids got to be outside and play their new Bomb Pop baseball set and eat ice cream and us parents got to talk! I definitely see Bomb Pops in our future…
The kids were even excited about the Bomb Pop keychains!
