Shopping in the Box Tops for Education Online Marketplace {Review}

Did you know that nearly 90,000 schools across the country have earned more than $525 million dollars since the Box Tops program started in 1996?  While those Box Tops used to only be found on products you purchased at your local stores, Box Tops also has an online marketplace where you can shop and earn eBoxTops!  With major retialers like Target, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart and Macy’s and speciality shops like Build A Bear Workshop and Oriental Trading, there are so many stores where you can shop at like you normally would and receive eBoxTops easily.  It doesn’t cost you any extra and it just takes a few extra minutes to complete your purchase since you first have to go to the Box Tops Online Marketplace first then click on the store you want and you will be re-directed to it.

The best part though about shopping through the Marketplace?  No tiny Box Tops to cut out!  They are electronically credited to your school’s account and automatically added to the next check your school receives.  And yes they are still worth $0.10 each!  Really if a store you shop at is on the Marketplace (and there are over 300 stores online) why wouldn’t you shop through it!  Its an easy way to contribute to your child’s school while buying stuff you would normally buy!

For me I do a lot of online shopping and I had no clue Box Tops offered this.  I love that shopping at Best Buy for example will earn my child’s school $0.10 for every $10 spent.  It may not seem like a lot but every little bit counts, right?
