Hormel wants to see some creations featuring their Hormel® Cure 81® ham steaks so they have come up with a fun way to get everyone’s creative juices flowing, a contest of course! The “Up the Steaks” recipe contest challenges particpants to create a unique recipe using one (or more) of the vairieites of Hormel® Cure 81® ham steaks. If you didn’t know, they are available in four single-serving varieties – Classic, Brown Sugar, Peppered, and Honey Cured – and already fully cooked, they’re a great lean protein option. Since they are fully-cooked already they are a super easy ingredient to add and so easy! They can be grilled, baked, seared, or even eaten cold!
To participate, simply like the Hormel Cure 81 Facebook page through October 18 and fill out the form with your recipe and information. Just submit a recipe and you’ll be entered to win a grand prize valued at $1,500 ($1,000 gift card and a variety of kitchen tools and serving ware valued at $500)! Winners will be notified at the end of the contest period – it’s that simple.
