The Game of Life Board Game {Review}

One of my favorite board games of all time is The Game of Life.  I loved seeing which job I would get, how many kids, how much money I’d make, and basically it was fun to be an adult even if just for a few minutes.  Now that my kids are finally a good age to really play board games, I have loved introducing them to one of my favorites.

Now the game has changed slightly to make it easier to set up and for quicker game play but the game is basically the same.  Choose college or a career, have babies, get married and so forth.  My boys are 5 and 7 and had no problem playing this game, other than we had to read some things to them.

Spin the wheel of fate and take a drive along the twisting roads families have enjoyed for more than 40 years! Choose a college or career path and start down the road of life, making money and having babies. You’ll have adventure after adventure until you reach retirement. If you reach it first, you get a big chunk of change – and if you’re the wealthiest player in retirement, you win! The Game of Life and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro.

I’d recommend this to any family looking to bring some fun into their family game night or looking to start their own tradition of family game nights!  The Game of Life is a classic game that is always fun and never the same game.
