Crock-Pot® Cuisine: Lemon Herb Chicken {Review} #crockpotcuisine

Disclosure:  I received the products below to review and compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

In case you missed my previous post, Crock-Pot has new chef-inspired  all natural slow cooker meals called Crock-Pot® Cuisine that go right from your freezer to the crockpot to your plate!  I have tried four varieties and loved them all, most recently I tried the Lemon Herb Chicken.

So what does it look like and how does it taste?

The Lemon Herb Chicken first off was destined to be my favorite because of all the green beans in it, my favorite!  There were so many green beans!  The chicken was seasoned just right and the rice was full of flavor!  This one we had a little bit of leftovers and I finished it off the next day, it was just as good!  I would have never thought to throw all these ingredients in my crock-pot but they were all perfect compliments for each other.  You add the rice in the last 30 minutes so its not soggy or overcooked, super easy.

I wish I had better pictures, I didn’t realize how bad these pictures came out as they don’t do the meal justice!

Now what is the catch?  Well they are a little expensive, ranging from $19.99-$23.99 depending on your subscription or whether you order just a one-time order.  I’d recommend the Cuisine Rewards Club subscription which is only $19.99 per meal and you receive a free 4-qt. slow cooker!  You can cancel anytime so its worth trying it and saving the extra money!  Right now there are only six meals to choose from but there are four more meals coming soon.  Even my husband who is usually picky when it comes to frozen foods loved all four that we tried.  For me, I love the ease of cooking it, just toss 1-2 of the bags in and then 30 minutes prior to cooking you usually have to toss in last 1-2 bags.  Everything is labeled and there is nothing you need to add except water.  This would actually be an amazing present for someone since you could order it and ship it right to their home.  When received the meals just need to be thrown in the freezer, no defrosting either required!

I seriously could go on and on about how much we loved these meals.  I am actually going to continue to order these meals because they are great to have on hand for those days when you just don’t want the same ole’ same ole’ meals, they just require at least four hours of cooking.

BUY IT:  Visit the Crock-Pot Cuisine website to order your own chef-inspired meal kits and in 4 or 8 hours you’ll have an amazing dinner for your family.  Right now they have some amazing specials as well and you can cancel your subscription anytime!

Also, use the code “CPC25BLOGH” to get 25% off of your order at CrockPotCuisine.com through March 31, 2014.
