Disclosure: I am currently a member of the Hormel Foods Extended Blogger Program and this post is part of my involvement in the Group.
Philanthropy is important to Hormel Foods – and that’s why they have made an ongoing commitment to help end hunger and give back to the communities in which they live and work. Hormel Foods recently completed the third year of the On Our Way to Ending Hunger program, through which more than $6.5 million was donated to hunger relief organizations throughout the United States and abroad during fiscal year 2013. To read more about the program and this year’s donations, check out the press release.
Hormel Foods is committed to continuing to give back in 2014. If you’re interested in assisting those in need in your community, consider donating to your local food shelf. Hormel Foods offers a variety of non-perishable products, and Feeding America® provides a great tool for locating a food bank nearest you.
