Diapers have one purpose, keep your child’s urine and bowel movements contained.  It is amazing though how one brand can vary from another.  Its not that one diaper is necessarily better than the other, but they do seem to fit kids differently as well.  As a mom of three, I have tried pretty much all the diapers out there.  I have been fortunate that all my kids were fine wearing any brand, so if I was at one store I could pick up their brand or if I was at another store I’d get their brand.

Well Walgreens is carrying a new brand, well at least they are new to me, called Well Beginnings.  While the line carries a variety of baby products including wipes and baby oil, I am focusing on their diapers.  I got the chance to try out a package of the Size 4 Well Beginnings diapers with my 2 year old.  She is a very active little girl who changes constantly and I need a diaper to stand up to her constant movements.

Some features I like about Well Beginnings diapers:

• Thin, not bulky
• Cottony soft outer cover and hypoallergenic extra soft inner liner with natural botanicals, vitamin E and aloe
• Soft, stretchable waist and side panels that don’t dig into skin or pop open
• Great leakage protection for both daytime and bedtime
• Cute elephant design, perfect for boys and girls
• Good size, the size 4 will definitely fit her for a long time

Overall, I am happy with the Well Beginnings diapers.  I had no issues with my 2 year old using them and she loves the elephant design.  The diapers fit her all around and the stretch tabs were easily re-sealable.  She tends to take her diaper off randomly and it is nice that I am able to re-seal them back on her.  The stretch around the crotch is also elastic enough that it contains what it needs to which is of course what I want from a diaper.  As far as the price goes, they are about the same price as other brands but they are convenient being sold at Walgreens.
