Affordable Dog (and Cat) Food at Dollar General

While I don't have a dog at our house, my parents have a dog that my kids absolutely love, Scooby.  My 2 year old daughter especially loves him and you can tell he loves her with how protective he gets around her.  I remember her falling one time and he barked until we came over and checked on her!  So since Scooby is an honorary member of our family, my kids like to give him snacks, probably too many treats when we are there.  While I am out I try to grab a bag here or there so I can keep it in my car for when we pop over at my moms.  

EverPet is a brand that manufactures dog and cat food and treats right here in the United States.  There are no existing recalls either on their products.  EverPet is sold at Dollar General stores and I was amazed at how many products they sell!  From wet food to dry food to every possible treat flavor, they have everything!  The best part though is they are super affordable, most of the treat bags I bought were only $1 a bag!  

As soon as we walked in, Scooby immediately went to my daughter since she is the treat giver and he sat down and waited.  He was thrilled at all the treats he got to try and there was not one he didn't like!  So he was happy with the treats and I was happy I didn't have to spend a lot!  I will definitely be stocking up from Dollar General on the EverPet treats.  I still can't believe how affordable the line is and that they are made in the US, usually stuff is more expensive when it is made here.
