Going Green With TruGreen and their Backyard Makeover Sweepstakes #TruGreen #MC

I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to see “Green.”  After months and months of “white” (aka snow) to finally see some green grass it has been amazing!  Even my kids noticed right away that some grass was coming through.  With three kids ages 7 and under, we are outside a lot running around and playing.  My kids would be outside from the moment they wake up until its too dark to see if they could.  Since we are outside so much and we live in a nice neighborhood I of course want good green grass.  From running around in it, having a picnic on it or just gazing at the beautiful green colors (yes we get excited about green after so much white), my husband especially is a little crazy when it comes to our grass.  We tried doing it all ourselves but last year my husband actually signed up with TruGreen.  Basically we have TruGreen come out a few times a year (I think four times) and they spray for weeds since we can get some pretty crazy weeds over here, they aerate and they just take care of the grass basically.  Yes its chemicals which I wasn’t thrilled about at first but they do use EPA-registered products and are applied by trained, licensed specialists.  They also do not use products containing known or probably human carcinogens as defined by the U.S. EPA, the National Toxicology Program or the International Agency for Research in Cancer.
