Knocked Two Things Off My Bucket List at Sea World Orlando {Review} #RockYourVacation

I received travel and tickets in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

One of my favorite places to visit in Orlando is Sea World. I don’t know why, but something about the dolphins and small sharks is just my cup of tea. I recently got to experience Sea World without kids and it is amazing how much they really do have to offer. I knocked two things off my bucket list there – Feed a Dolphin and Feed a Stingray!

First off Sea World is a lot of walking, so wear comfortable shoes and don’t forget sunscreen. Grab a map too as I feel like we missed a whole half of the park and we were there for a good chunck of a day. You can do the whole park in one day but if you want to really explore and take your time, two days might be better.

We started off our day with a ride. Yes Sea World has rides – perfect for the teenagers who may be bummed they are being dragged to Sea World or if your like me and just love rides!

After our ride, we were given a private tour guide which was awesome because she knew everything about the park. Yes you can purchase tours if you want. We saw a little of everything but what was really cool was the Dolphin Nursery which had some baby dolphins in it that were only a few days old!

Feeding the dolphins was amazing and I cannot believe how affordable. You do have to wait in a long line but its $7 (I believe) for a tray of fish and you get to actually feed fish to a dolphin. It’s funny too there are birds everywhere and we were warned to guard our fish trays because the birds will come for it! When all the fish is gone, so are the dolphins so make sure you get your pictures while you can!

And the Dolphin Show of course:

Up next was feeding a Stingray. Stingrays honestly freak me out, as I feel like they are going to sting me! What they actually do is suck the fish from your hand, kind like a vaccuum. This was affordable too as you buy the tray of fish for a few dollars. I can’t wait to come back with my kids for this.

Lunch was awesome:

Oh and we saw fish of course:

And penguins:

We also got to tour the behind-the-scenes areas of SeaWorld:

My highlights were the rides and feeding the dolphins and stingrays but like I said I feel like we only scratched the surface of the park. I can’t wait to go back and explore the park with my kids next time, especially now that I am a little more comfortable with my bearings there! Before honestly I probably would have been nervous about my kids feeding the animals and now I am looking forward to their faces when they get to do it.
