Breaking Out the Oldies But Goodies With Old World Style Pepperoni & Salami #OldWorldStyleOM

My family is not big into lunchmeat but we do love pepperoni and salami.  My youngest son and I could eat it every day. Well we are not the only ones and Oscar Mayer has come to the rescue for satisying our needs.  Oscar Mayer has come out with some new products, Old World Style Pepperoni and Old World Style Pepperoni.  They are products inspired by the increased popularity of Italian-inspired sandwiches and are perfect for a flavorful convenient sandwich.

To go a step further though not only can you get regular pepperoni and salami, which by the way is still amazing, Oscar Mayer also released new flavors of the oldies but goodies.  You can now get Old World Style Black Pepper Salami and Turkey Pepperoni.  I absolutely love that they spiced things up with the Black Pepper and made a turkey version as well.  They are excellent sources of protein as well with up to 8 grams per serving.

While my family eats these new Oscar Mayer products on their own, I did come up with a wrap combing both the salami and pepperoni.

Now this wrap is definitely something you shouldn’t judge by its cover, it is delicious.  Its funny too that I thought to combine all these ingredients as usually I am a picky eater.  I honestly think though you could add almost anything to these new products by Oscar Mayer and it would taste good.  So anyways I came up with my wrap (we are not big bread people) idea because I thought of an appetizer I had at a wedding a few years ago that combined salami and cream cheese.  The appetizers had salami rolled like a flute with cream cheese all fancy in the middle, on a toothpick of course.  I decided to make a wrap to make something more filling.

Salami & Pepperoni with Cream Cheese and Pickles Wrap

Ingredients:

• Oscar Mayer Old World Style Pepperoni
• Oscar Mayer Old World Style Salami
• Flour Tortillas
• Cream cheese
• Bread and Butter pickles (they satisfy a sweet craving)
• Cheese

Directions:

• Spread the cream cheese on the tortilla
• Top with your meats, cheese and pickles

Notes:  Obviously if you don’t like something then leave it out.  A wrap should be something you throw your favorite things into a tortilla and eat!

However you enjoy your Oscar Mayer Old World Style Pepperoni and Old World Style Pepperoni, it is sure to be delicious and packed full of flavor!
