Finally Functioning With Help From Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Severe #ReliefIsHere @Walmart

A few weeks ago my husband and I got sick with really bad colds.  Not a regular cold but the kind of cold that makes it hard to actually function.  As a mom I  don’t get sick days and my husband really busy at work so a sick day was really a last resort for him.  We toughed it out for a few days but when we realized it wasn’t going away we had to take action.  So what did I do?  I headed to Walmart, in my pajamas because I figured I’d look as bad as I feel anyways, and picked up Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil Severe.  I love how convenient it is to pop in and out of Walmart for me, especially because at my Walmart they have the medicines right in the front of the store.  I was able to pick up some tissues and comfort food too and be back home in no time.

We are regular Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil users but had never tried the Severe variety.  Our symptoms definitely called for Severe.  Between my husband and I we had all the common cold/flu symptoms, they were just kicked up a notch than normal.  For me, the worst symptom I had was the coughing as it was the worst at night and everytime I laid down to sleep I’d have a terrible cough.  I even tried sleeping upright but that wasn’t helping.  NyQuil Severe helped me sleep and soothed my symptoms.  During the day I suffered mostly from sinus congestion and pressure and body aches, Vicks DayQuil Severe helped me function so I could still chauffer my kids to school and their activities until I could crawl back into bed in the evening.  My husband has nose issues to begin with so when he gets a cold, his nose really gets hit hard.  He couldn’t breathe, had constant stuffiness in his nostrils and had a headache all day and night. He was able to go to work thanks to Vicks DayQuil then get enough sleep with help from NyQuil.

If your not good with liquid medicines, both NyQuil and DayQuil come in caplets as well.  My husband and I prefer the liquid forms but I think its great that they offer it in caplets form as well.
