Tackling Mornings With Help From belVita Bites Breakfast Biscuits #MorningWin

Disclosure:  I will receive a product pack in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

This week marks my kids first week back at school this year, since having two weeks off for winter break.  It has been crazy already.  Having a break for two weeks really through my family off and I have slowly been working on getting us back on track.  It has been especially hard on my daughter who is new to the whole school-thing and she is used to her mommy-time and doesn’t want to go back to school now.

So as I said I am taking it day by day, and anything that goes right I am calling a morning win.  Get kids lunches packed on time – Win!  Kids teeth brushed – Win!  Kids to school on time – Win! After the kids are off to school, I then worry about myself which is honestly nice to not have to rush.  I come in, have some juice or iced coffee, then sit down with a light breakfast.  I am not a big breakfast eater but I am trying to get better at eating something light.  Studies show how important breakfast is and this year I am striving to take care of myself like I take care of my family.  Its silly how I make sure my family is healthy and taken care of, but I push my own needs aside.

Well belvita makes it easy to grab a delicious and nutritious breakfast choice whether I have time to sit down and enjoy it or I am on-the-go.  Each serving of belVita Bites Breakfast Biscuits provides four hours of nutritious steady energy and is individually wrapped for on-the-go convenience.

Each 50g serving (one pouch) includes:

  • 230 calories
  • 4g of fiber* (*contains 7-8g fat per serving, depending on flavor variety)
  • 20g of whole grain
  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • No partially hydrogenated oil
  • No artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners

belVita Bites Breakfast Biscuits are biscuits that are great as is or broken up into some yogurt.  They come is two delicious varieties:  Mixed Berry and Chocolate.

These Bites are honestly delicious and I am not a big biscuit or cracker person.  I was actually surprised at how many were in the package and how much they filled me up.  I love that they are bite-sized because it makes me feel like I am eating a lot more than just one bag.  I honestly prefer these over a bar, they just seem to fill me up more and have been a great way for me to start the day.  As far as which flavor I like better, I couldn’t pick.  It depends on the mood I am in, but they are both equally good.  Even my husband the skeptic on anything “healthy” looking likes these and I have a feeling he will be sneaking them for his morning commute.

  • These sound and look really good. I think I would prefer the mixed berry though, I'm not a big chocolate cookie fan. I'm also not a breakfast eater either and would love to try these biscuits to see if I like them.
