I honestly could drink smoothies all day, everyday, if of course someone else made them for me. The problem I have at home is I either don’t have all the fresh fruit and veggies on hand to use or I mix the wrong ingredients together and create funky combinations. Well luckily there is local stores like Jamba Juice which make it easy to get a fresh fruit fix while on-the-go. If you have never been to a Jamba Juice before I will say it can be intimidating as there are so many different choices and most customers know exactly what they want, but you won’t regret whatever you order.
So the other day while I was out running errands, I popped into my local Jamba Juice store. I had a taste for something sweet and figured a drink more wholesome would satisfy not just my cravings but also give me the pick me up to keep going! It can be a little strange walking into Jamba Juice and seeing all the different fruits and veggies and a counter full of blenders, but like I said they know what they are doing and you won’t be disappointed!
I chose the Tropical Kick-Start, which is a blend of mangos, orange juice and ice. It seriously was the highlight of my day and exactly what I needed. Everything is made to order and right in front of you, which again shows the freshness and quality of the products. It was definitely a hard choice at what to order as everything sounded so good but I am biased towards mangos so I had to go with the Tropical Kick-Start.
I chose a 16 oz. and it was just enough for me. Not too big and not too small. The fruit in it you could just taste the freshness and natural sweetness from the fruits. Now I am not someone who normally looks at ingredients or notices but this definitely tasted fresh and free of junk.
Luckily I don’t live that close to my local Jamba Juice or I would get it every day, so I will have to settle for it being a sweet treat whenever I am out that way shopping! It is worth the trip though and such a good choice over some of the quick-service food places available. I love that I don’t have to worry about fruits or veggies going bad at my own house and that I can trust to get something yummy flavored while at Jamba Juice. They have such a great variety of fruits, veggies, seeds and more that no matter what your in the mood for they probably have it! I can’t wait to try one of their green smoothies next, as I have heard some good things about them!
Or maybe even one packed with carrots and cayenne pepper!
