Going Back to School With Hormel @HormelFoods #HormelFamily

Disclosure: I am currently a member of the Hormel Foods Extended Blogger Program and this post is part of my involvement in the Group.

Never Too Cool for School: Backpacks are zipped, glue sticks and rulers are purchased, and the kids are hopping on the bus again because it’s back-to-school time! Whether you’re packing lunches or taking the kids to soccer practice, Hormel Foods has some great tips for quick and portable snack options as well as easy meal ideas for the whole family.

  • The Lunch Master: To be dubbed the official “master of all lunches” this year, you may want to stock up on some easily packable items like SKIPPY® Singles for dipping with crackers, fruits and veggies. And if the kids get tired of eating the same foods each week, mix it up with already cooked SPAM® Singles – perfect for adding to a sandwich or eating as a snack all by itself!

  • Feed Your Sport: The back-to-school season means that fall sports will soon be in full throttle! With sports like football, soccer, volleyball, tennis and cross country all starting in August, make sure you’re prepared with energy-packed snacks like HORMEL® REV® Wraps, which have 13 grams of protein or more, to last all game long. If you’re hosting the full team after a “big win” you can also try serving LLOYD’S® Seasoned & Smoked Ribs for an extra satisfying celebration!

  • School-Night Cooking: With schedules booked and calendars loaded, it can be tough to put together a sit-down dinner for the whole family. If you’re looking for a quick fix that the kids will love, try new Hormel® Taco Meats in shredded beef, chicken or pork. Fully cooked and already seasoned for a meal ready in minutes, they’re perfect for tacos, burritos, salads or even these Cheesy Chicken & Bacon Quesadillas.

  • Ha1 You are funny - “master of all lunches” - actually I aspire to this. Those peanutbutter things are pretty cool and oddly, around here anyway, luncheon meat is eaten cut in strips and rolled into spirals (no bread!). I have no idea why this is, I just do as requested.
