Santa’s Village AZoosment Park {East Dundee, IL} @svazoosmentpark

I received complimentary tickets in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Santa’s Village was always one of my favorite places we went during my childhood. I don’t have a great memory but the slide in the treehouse and the snowmen from Santa’s Village are ingrained in my memory. I was so excited when I was able to take my own kids a few years ago after they re-opened from being closed for five years. The new Santa’s Village now has a bunch of animal attractions and is now called “Santa’s Village Azoosment Park!”

Life got in the way and I forgot about Santa’s Village Azoosment Park but after seeing an advertisement for it I knew we had to go back. My daughter was only 1 years old last time we went and she just turned 4! I would say it is perfect for ages 1-9 for kids, I did see many adults without kids there just enjoying the animals. My 1 year old back then was able to enjoy the animals and some of the rides on my lap but this year my 8 year old was getting a little big for some of the rides. So if you are going for your kids you might want to check the Santa’s Village Ride Height Requirements.

Here are some ride pictures I took:

There is a new ride this year called X Treme Elevation that travels 140 feet up and then drops riders down. It is the biggest ride there and the has the tallest minimum height of 48 inches. This is a great ride for adults who want to get a break from all the kiddie rides or young riders who want a more “adult” ride!

Here is a video my husband made of my boys on it:

We spent 4 hours at Santa’s Village Azoosment Park and if it was up to my kids we would have stayed longer. They could have went on all the rides a few more times and we had to pry them out of the animal feeding area.

What I love most about Santa’s Village Azoosment Park is its not crowded with teenagers and overwhelming with its size. The park is the perfect size and has just enough to keep kids and parents happy but not too much you can’t do everything without rushing. We felt very relaxed walking around and even my mother-in-law who doesn’t like crowds said it was a perfect day!

Bye Santa’s Village…until next time!

VISIT: Check out the Santa’s Village Azoosment Park website to hours, directions, and Special Hours! Yes they are open through October 31st and feature lots of fun events.

  • I have always loved Santa's Village. I am not comfortable around large crowds, so it's more my speed. Being from the west suburbs, it is much closer. I am so glad they re-opened this great place.

  • My daughters and family are always looking for mini vacations for overnight fun. THIS would be perfect for her almost 4 year old. Actually THREE of my grandkids, all ages 4 and almost four would love this ! I checked the distance from here and is about 1 hour and 45 minutes. Perfect, as an under 2 hour trip works well with this age.
