Now that my boys are getting older it is fun to play more challenging games with them. From games where we play against each other to games we play in teams, I love that we have moved onto some more “adult” games.
What do onions, gold, and boxing have in common? They’re all types of rings! Listen to a list, remember what you heard, then think quick! Win points for naming things missing from the list, identifying their category, or being the last player standing in a Lightning Round. Everyone can join the fun with two game play levels: easy and hard.

Read My List is a game that reminds me of the games shows Family Feud and Pyramid. There are various cards with Lists and Categories and you have to answer them quickly. It is a great game for quick-thinking and team playing. The List cards have you name off 3 or more things that are found at the card, for example the card may say “Cheeses” and the player has to come up with 3 or more cheeses. Category cards say a bunch of things and you have to guess what they are belong to. Now some of the things may be hard for younger kids, but then you just move on. I mean my 8 year old couldn’t name three cheeses, so we pick a different card. It is really a fun game that everyone (ages 8 and up recommended) can play. All the cards then store nicely in a sturdy cardboard box, no additional pieces.
