Getting Quality Food at Your Local Dennys #DennysDiners

Every other Tuesday pretty much my family heads to our local Denny’s. Tuesday works out for us because it is the only night we don’t have anything going on during the week and its Kids Eat Free.  With five of us I really appreciate restaurants that offer Kids Eat Free because it gives us a chance to be able to go out at least once a week without breaking the bank.

“Quality” may not be the first word you think of when it comes to Denny’s but quality is actually something Denny’s prides themselves on. I think so many people just think of Denny’s as greasy diner food and coffee, but they have definitely evolved to be a family restaurant that focuses on quality food.

Here are some ways that makes Denny’s standout as focusing on “quality”?

Denny’s uses many fresh products that are prepared in-restaurant and never tinned or frozen. From freshly sliced avocado on dishes such as the Cali Club Sandwich, Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger, Southwest Turkey sandwich, Tilapia Ranchero and the Avocado Chicken Caesar Salad to seasonal fresh fruit sides , Denny’s is all about fresh produce unlike many other chain restaurants.

Only the finest 100% beef patties (weighing in at 6.5 ounces) are used. Denny’s offers so many great high-quality burger choices such as the Spicy Sriracha Burger and Bourbon Bacon Burger. I honestly love the Bourbon Bacon Burger and I am pretty picky when it comes to my burger. It is just the perfect combination of a burger with cheese, bacon, mushrooms, peppers, onions and a sweet bourbon sauce. Seriously delicious.

In addition to their high quality burgers, Denny’s also offers a delicious Veggie Burger, which is made with Amy’s® organic grain patty.

Premium items including Tilapia and wild-caught Alaska Salmon, which is wild, natural and sustainable, are part of the Denny’s Fit Fare items with steamed vegetables.

There are even deli-inspired items that aren’t reflective of typical ‘diner’ food, such as the Chicken-Salad Sandwich is a guest favorite, and is made with fresh, roasted, seasoned chicken, mixed with celery, red grapes, toasted almonds and mayo. This is made in-house and is as delicious as any deli sandwich!

As I said, we head to Denny’s pretty regularly and honestly I don’t mind when my kids ask to go there. We always enjoy what we order and its a quality night out for my family. Denny’s constantly blows us away with their updated menu items and how they are making changes towards healthier options and fresher choices.
